Fastener Seals
Parker´s fastener seals are composite sealing washers, consisting of a metallic carrier and a vulcanized elastomer sealing lip. They provide a static sealing function on flanges or threaded connections, and consistently assure ideal compression conditions between the housing components to prevent the destruction of the sealing lip. Parker´s fastener seals provide long and reliable service, a high degree of reusability, and easy assembly. They have been engineered to eliminate over-compression, provide easy and accurate placement of the seal thanks to a self-centring design, and deliver improved joint stability via the solid metal-to-metal contact.

Cushioning Seals
0 out of 5(0)In pneumatic cylinders, cushioning seals are part of a design that provides for controlled final position retardation. Up on approaching the final position, a tapered sleeve, firmly located on the piston rod, progressively closes off the open passage toward the line connection of the cylinder. In this phase of motion, the defluent medium is led via a, usually adjustable, needle valve, the adjustment of which controls the degree of stroke movement retardation. During reverse operation, the cushioning seal designs provide a non-return valve functionality and ensure free flow. Parker offers robust seal profiles, suitable for the harshest operating conditions and showing extreme wear and high-temperature resistance.

Piston Seals
0 out of 5(0)Parker piston seals for hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders and actuators are designed to separate applied pressure between the piston and the rod side during the stroke movement. They are available as single-acting and double acting seals in a wide range of compound and profile configurations to meet diverse applications: high and low temperatures and pressures, a wide variety of media, harsh operating conditions, various friction requirements, etc. Parker piston seals can cover working temperatures from -50°C to 230°C and working pressures up to 800 bar. Some seal profiles are insensitive to extreme pressure peaks. There are piston seals available that comply with ISO 6020, ISO 5597 and ISO 7425-1 standards.

HIGH PRESSURE OIL SEALS
0 out of 5(0)The rotary shaft oil seal is an indispensable component in lubricated rotating equipment and must be chosen with caution in order to ensure that the correct design and materials are used to provide a long-lasting life for the rotating equipment.
These variations of the G and M type seals are engineered to withstand pressure up to 10 BAR (1 MPa), although this limit has been exceeded in some applications. These seals are available with or without an additional dust lip. The G type and its high pressure variants show a metal insert covered by rubber, while the M type and its variants offer a bare metal body on the outside diameter.
