Flange Seals
0 out of 5(0)Flange seals provide the front-face static sealing function within flange connections. There are two major design principles available, either for internal or external pressure. Various designs in a broad range of compounds provide individual features. Parker’s flange seals offer enhanced sealing performance from pressure-free to high-pressure conditions. Designs can be optimized to be insensitive to pressure peaks, show high extrusion resistance or media resistance.

Guiding Elements and Wear Strips
0 out of 5(0)Parker’s selection of guiding elements and wear strips includes U-cup, press-in-place extremely wear-resistant rod, seal, and wiper and guidance systems for pneumatic cylinders; rod guide rings for hydraulic-cylinder and comparable lubricated applications; and countless other offerings.

WIPER SEALS
0 out of 5(0)Rod wipers for alternative linear movements have been designed to give first-class protection to seals and driving bodies in hydraulic and pneumatic cylinder applications.
The main function of the rod wiper is to keep the rod clean from any possible impurity.
The •FP• rod wipers have a chamfer on the outside diameter to facilitate the press fitting into the housing. To simplify the installation, the bore should have a chamfer as per DIN 3760.

Cushioning Seals
0 out of 5(0)In pneumatic cylinders, cushioning seals are part of a design that provides for controlled final position retardation. Up on approaching the final position, a tapered sleeve, firmly located on the piston rod, progressively closes off the open passage toward the line connection of the cylinder. In this phase of motion, the defluent medium is led via a, usually adjustable, needle valve, the adjustment of which controls the degree of stroke movement retardation. During reverse operation, the cushioning seal designs provide a non-return valve functionality and ensure free flow. Parker offers robust seal profiles, suitable for the harshest operating conditions and showing extreme wear and high-temperature resistance.
