Torsi-Lock provides the ease of a slip fit with the power of a shrink fit.
Ameridrives Couplings has responded to industry demand for a cold-install hub that provides the secure torque transmission and balance repeatability of an interference fit. We’ve combined our Ameriloc shaft locking devices with Torsiflex-i to provide a pre-engineered solution that meets the balance requirements of API 610.
- Cold Install means NO HOT WORK PERMITS, providing added safety and productivity in hazardous environments
- Easy, repeatable removal and installation
- Eliminates fretting of hub to shaft
- Compensates for variances in shaft spacing – slip on and fix in the needed location

Torsiflex-I Disc Couplings
Torsiflex-i disc couplings are specifically designed for process pump and general industrial applications. Torsiflex is an all-metal disc coupling requiring no lubrication which incorporates a plug-in feature to allow installation and removal without disturbing the pump alignment.

Turboflex Plus High Performance Disc Couplings

The Turboflex Plus combines the proven Turboflex and Ameridisc disc couplings together with the experience of the Ameriflex diaphragm producing a coupling as ideally suited to sensitive high speed turbocompressors as it is to low speed load couplings whilst offering an economical solution and being fully compliant API-671/ISO10441 for critical oil and gas, energy, and petrochemical applications. Altra Couplings are selected where quality and reliability are essential to the operation of a plant.
